  • The Claddagh Ring
The Claddagh Ring is believed to have originated in the fishing village situated near the 'shore' or 'Claddagh' of Galway Bay, Ireland.

Richard Joyce en route to the West Indies, was captured by Algerian corsairs and sold as a slave to a moorish goldsmith who trained him. Released from slavery in 1689, at the demand of Williamâ…¢ of England. Joyce, in spite of substantial inducement to stay, returned to Galway and set up as a goldsmith. His work, marked with the initials R.I. and an anchor signifying Hope, still exists.

The Claddagh Ring motif is attributed to him. The motif on the Claddagh Ring shows two hands holding a heart which wears a crown. This motif is explained in the phrase: 'Let Love and Friendship Reign.'
  • Charms
Every charm is made individually in a wax mould, therefore they are a solid piece. Charms can be made into earrings, or, put onto a stickpin. Please state if you want the charm moveable, or as a solid item on a stickpin. Charms can also be used as a pendant, but we do advise to get the O ring of all Sterling Silver charms soldered for safe keeping. All 9 ct Charms are automatically soldered. Charms, as earrings, can be put onto shepherd hooks and most charms can be made into stud earrings.
  • Chains, Bracelets and Anklets
Bracelets and anklets can have charms soldered to them, safety chains added, or, plain or filigree padlocks added to them. The heavier gauge chains all have a parrot clasp. The smaller gauge chains have a bolt ring. Should you need longer sizes than what is listed, please contact us and we will quote for the size required.
  • Earrings
Because we custom make all of our lines, we are able to make just one earring. Never be afraid of loosing an earring again, as we can make it for you. If you love Shepherd hooks, but have trouble in keeping them from falling out, butterfly backs put onto the shepherd hooks will stop them from moving.

Don't suffer from infected ears anymore. We do not use nickel at all, in our components of making any of our jewellery. It is nickel that many people have an allergic reaction to. You can safely put any earring into a child's ear with confidence.
  • Bangles
One very important issue, we do not copper or silver fill our bangles, or any other line. 95% of our bangle ranges are all solid pieces, with the exception of our hinged bangles. Prices do vary for different sizes. Please refer to the bangle dimension chart for your correct size.
